Edremit Co-mayor Sevil Rojbin Çetin sentenced to 10 years in prison

VAN - Edremit Co-mayor Sevil Rojbin Çetin has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for allegedly “being member of a (terrorist) organization”.
 
Van’s Edremit Co-mayor Sevil Rojbin Çetin, who was arrested on August 24, 2015 and released from prison after 14 months in prison, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for allegedly “being member of a (terrorist) organization”. The seventh hearing of Edremit Co-mayors Sevil Rojbin Çetin and Abdulkerim Batmaz and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) administrator Mehmet Batu was held today by 2nd High Criminal Court in Van today. The court has sentenced Sevil Rojbin Çetin, Abdulkerim Batmaz and Mehmet Batu to 10 years (totally 30 years) in prison.
