Leyla Güven’s detention period extended

DİYARBAKIR - Detention period of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven, who was taken into custody for her statements and reaction to the Turkey’s attacks on Afrin, has been extended once again.
 
On January 22, the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven was taken into custody outside of her home in Diyarbakır by police for her statements and reaction to the Turkey’s attacks on Afrin and she has been held at Diyarbakır Police Headquarters for seven days. Her lawyers report that the detention period of Leyla has been extended.
