Monument to memory of Sakine, Fidan and Leyla

NEWS CENTER - A monument was erected where one of the founders of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Sakine Cansız, Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) Paris Peace Representative Fidan Doğan and member of Youth Movement Leyla Şaylemez were killed.
 
A monument was erected to three names of women, who are one of the founders of the PKK Sakine Cansız, KNK Paris Peace Representative Fidan Doğan, and a member of the Kurdish Youth Movement, Leyla Şaylemez, on the 147 La Fayette street, where the Kurdish information Bureau located, in the fifth year of the murder. French politicians, representatives of Kurdish institutions and the families participated in the opening of the monument and anniversary commemoration event organized by the Paris Municipality, the 10th Municipality of Paris and the French Democratic Kurdish Council. In addition to the information about Sakine, Fidan and Leyla, there is also the inscription of "3 Kurdish women militants were massacred here" on the monument.
 
Silent march was done
 
After a silent march in front of the Paris Democratic Kurdish Community Center, an opening of the monument was held with an official ceremony.
 
The memorial ended after a one minute’s silence in the memory of Sakine, Fidan and Leyla.
