417th day on Yüksel Avenue: 6 detained

ANKARA - Police attacked the “We want our jobs back” action going on for 417 days and detained six protesters.
 
As the hunger strike launched by dismissed educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça has entered its 297th day, the “We want our jobs back” action held by the supporters of two educators has entered in its 417th day.
 
Police blocked the way of protesters, who wanted to make a statement in front of Human Rights Monument on Yüksel Avenue. The protesters unfurled a banner reading, “Nurişye and Semih should be reinstated” and began to make statement. Police attacked them and detained six of them.
