MARDİN - An investigation has been opened against the students of Kemal Gözü Girls Vocational and Anatolian High School located in Mardin’s Nusaybin district for dancing halay at school.

 

An investigation has been opened against the students of Kemal Gözü Girls Vocational and Anatolian High School (Kemal Gözü Kız Mesleki ve Anadolu Lisesi) located in Mardin’s Nusaybin district, where tens of teachers were dismissed from their duties by emergency decrees issued under the state of emergency declared by the AKP government. The school management took the minutes for the students, who posted their video on social media, for “acting improperly at school”. The school manager M.A.K. allegedly called all students to his room and used gendered discourses against the students.
