NEWS CENTER- The emergency degree No. 696 issued under the state of emergency this morning by the AKP government gives unlimited authority to paramilitary forces to kill. 

 

The AKP government has issued two new emergency decrees (KHK) this morning within the scope of the state of emergency. The Article 121 of the degree No. 696 gives unlimited authority to the paramilitary forces to kill.  According to the article, every action called as ‘terrorist action” by the AKP becomes a target, the racist attackers will not even be tried. 

 

The article sparks social media outrage. Some of them are as follows; 

 

*Tur Yıldız Biçer: Are you aware of what it means to bring ‘Jurisdictional immunity to civilians suppressing terrorist events’ by KHK? 

 

*Yeşim Yavuzer: Jurisdictional immunity has been given to civilians suppressing terrorist events by KHK. The jihadist president of the HÖH, who threatened the journalist, the mafia leader, who wanted to take shower with blood of academics won’t be tried. I cannot believe that! 

 

*Cemal Saim: We write self-defense for many times because we are going to a war step by step. The AKP has legitimized the civil war. They give “the jurisdictional immunity to civilians suppressing terrorist events.” 

 

*Ziya Pir: Jurisdictional immunity has been given to civilians suppressing terrorist events by KHK. Paramilitary structures are being legitimized.
