ANKARA - Three people have been detained on the 405th day of “We want our jobs back” action held on Yüksel Avenue, Ankara.

The hunger strike launched by educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça has continued for 285 days while the “We want our jobs back” action has entered in its 405th day.

Police didn’t allow the protesters to make a statement in front of Human Rights Monument located on Ankara's Yüksel Avenue. The protesters thereupon gathered in Konur Street and unfurled a banner reading, “Nuriye and Semih should be reinstated”. Police attacked them and detained three of them.
