402th day on Yüksel Avune: 7 detained

ANKARA - Police attacked the people gathering in front of Human Rights Monument to make a statement on the 402th day of “We want our jobs back” action and detained seven people.
 
As the hunger strike launched by educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who were dismissed from their duties by emergency decrees, has entered in its 282th day, the “We want our jobs back” action continued by the people in solidarity with two educators has entered in its 402th day.
 
The protesters, who wanted to make a statement in front of the Human Rights Monument on Yüksel Avenue, gathered in Konur Street. Police didn’t allow them to enter Yüksel Avenue.  The protesters unfurled a banner reading, “The hunger strike is on 282th day, Nuriye and Semih should be reinstated.”
 
 Police attacked the people and detained seven of them.
