Another woman rescued from Daesh

SHENGAL –On August 3, 2014, thousands of Êzidî women and children were taken captive and tortured by Daesh. An Êzidî woman and two Êzidî boys have been rescued from Daesh in Cizîrê Canton by the SDF.
 
On August 3, 2014, Daesh attacked Shengal and executed and abducted many Êzidî women. Some of them were sold in slave markets; some of them were subjected to torture or killed by Daesh. Until now, many Êzidîs have been rescued from Daesh. An Êzidî woman and two Êzidî boys have been rescued from Daesh in Cizîrê Canton by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Kerîma Berkat, Azad Elî and Wisam Salih have been rescued.
 
Qasim Xelef, Co-chair of Xanesorê Assembly, stated that they strengthen their organization against the attacks of Daesh.
 
Emîne Salih, mother of Wisam Salih who has been rescued from Daesh, said “I am very happy that today my son has been rescued. But my two children are held by Daesh now. We thank to the fighters and we will never forget their favor until we die.
 
Xêro Berekat, brother of Kerîma Berekat, said “We thank to the fighters of the SDF for rescuing my sister today. We hope all women and children held by Daesh to be rescued.”
