DİYARBAKIR –Diyarbakır Peace Mothers’ Assembly members joined the Hevsel Gardens tour organized by the Hevsel Production Platform every week. The members called for empowering the struggle against the concretion of Hevsel Gardens.

 

The Hevsel Production Platform organizes tours to Hevsel Gardens every week, this week Diyarbakır Peace Mothers’ Assembly members joined the tour. The mothers carried the banners reading “Don’t mess with Hevsel” in Kurdish and Turkish. The mothers said that the Hevsel Gardens are an important part of the history of Diyarbakır and that they will stand against the concretion of Hevsel Gardens.

 

The mothers called for empowering the struggle against rent protects in Hevsel Gardens.
