Prosecutor demands the release of Nuriye Gülmen

ANKARA - Fifth hearing of Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who have been on hunger strike for 264 days, has been held today. The prosecutor has demanded Nuriye Gülmen to be released under judicial control.
 
Fifth hearing of the case opened against Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who were dismissed from their duties by emergency decrees issued by the AKP and have been on hunger strike for 264 days of the hunger strike to be reinstated, has started. Nuriye Gülmen, who is held in Numune Education and Research Hospital, wasn’t taken to the court and she attended the hearing through Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS) and waved to the people in hearing room. T prosecutor has demanded Nuriye Gülmen to be released under judicial control.
