ANKARA – Police attacked the “We want our jobs back” action on Yüksel Avenue and detained three people.

 

The hunger strike launched by academic Nuriye Gülmen and teacher Semih Özakça, who were dismissed from their duties by emergency decrees has entered in its 244th day. The “We want our jobs back” action carried out in front of the Human Rights Monument by the supporters of educators after their arrest has entered in its 364th day.

 

The protesters gathered in the Konur Street and wanted to make a statement in front of the monument. Police attacked the protesters and detained three of them.
