2nd National Feminism Symposium starts

ANKARA –Two-day 2nd National Feminism Symposium organized by Feminism Association has started. Human rights defenders, journalists, academics and women’s rights defenders will attend the symposium.
 
Two-day 2nd National Feminism Symposium organized by Feminism Association has started with the title, “Feminist Policy and Organization” at Yıldız Kenter Theater Hall of Nazım Hikmet Culture Center in Ankara. Cumhuriyet daily columnist Mine Söğüt made the opening speech of the symposium. Federation of Women's Associations of Turkey Chair Canan Güllü, Association for Support and Training of Women Candidates (KA-DER) Chair Nuray Karaoğlu, Esra Varhan from Çankaya University and Zuhal Esra Bilir from Ankara University took the floor in the first session of the symposium.
 
Session titles of the symposium taking place with the participation of many human rights defenders, women’s rights defenders andacademics are as follows; “Feminism and Politics”, “Feminism and Academic”, “Feminism and Society”, “Feminism and Activism”, “Feminism and LGBTQ+”, “Feminism and Men”, “Feminism and Shelters” and “Feminism and Media”.
