Tens of faxes sent to Justice Ministry and CPT

VAN- DBP and HDP Provincial and District Organizations sent faxes to Bursa Public Prosecutor, Justice Ministry and CPT in order to draw attention to the isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Van Provincial and District Organizations sent fax to Bursa Public Prosecutor, Justice Ministry and Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) in order to draw attention to the isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Before sending faxes, a press statement was issued in the garden of the DBP provincial building. Members of DBP and HDP Provincial and District Organizations, Peace Mothers Assembly in Van and Free Women’s Movement attended the press statement.

HDP Provincial Co-chair Ümit Dede made a speech during the statement and said, “The situation in İmralı and claims on social media by unofficial accounts have reached extremely dangerous and worrisome sizes. Mr. Öcalan's condition concerns us like concerns all segments.”

After the statement, the people went to the post office and sent fax.
