ANHA correspondent Dilîşan Îbiş killed in Daesh attack

NEWS CENTER- ANHA correspondent Dilîşan Îbiş killed in Daesh attack while following the Operation Cizire Storm. Journalists Rizgar Deniz and Hogir Mihemed have been wounded in the attack.

Daesh gangs attacked a group of fleeing civilians with two bomb laden cars around 18:30 Thursday evening. Three correspondents of Hawar News Agency (ANHA) Dilîşan Îbiş, Rizgar Deniz and Hogir Mihemed were wounded along with 43 civilians and nine civilians were killed in the attack.

Dilîşan İbiş was taken to hospital; however, she passed away in the hospital yesterday.

ANHA has released a message of condolence for Dilîşan Îbîş and says;

“As workers for press of Hawar News Agency (ANHA), we offer our condolences to family of Dilîşan Îbiş and all families of those who lost their lives in the attack; we wish our wounded correspondents Rizgar Deniz and Hogir Mihemed and all wounded people a quick recovery. We promise we will continue our works by following their path.”

Rizgar Deniz and Hogir Mihemed were then hospitalized and taken under treatment. Rizgar Deniz is reported to be in good medical condition while Hogir Mihemed is in critical condition and receiving treatment in intensive care unit.
