329th day of Yüksel resistance: One woman detained

ANKARA – Police attacked the protesters, who wanted to make a statement during “We want our jobs back” action entered in the 329th day, one woman was detained.

As the hunger strike launched by academic Nuriye Gülmen and teacher Semih Özakça, who were dismissed by emergency decrees, has entered in the 209th day, “We want our jobs back” action carried out by public laborers at Ankara’s Yüksel Avenue in order to support the two educators and to demand their jobs back has entered in the 329th day.

The protesters wanted to make a statement in front of the Human Rights Monument in Yüksel Avenue; however, police didn’t allow them and attacked them. Police detained one woman.
