ADANA- Actress Başak Köklükaya dedicates her award to educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who are on the hunger strike.

“Grand Award Ceremony” for the 24^th International Adana Film Festival took place in the Congress Center of Çukurova University with about 2,000 people in attendance.

Başak Köklükaya has received "Best Actress" award for her performance in the film named "İşe Yarar Bir Şey" (Something useful). Başak dedicates her award to educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who are on the hunger strike.

Başak said, “I want to dedicate this important and beautiful award to those who are still resisting, who have chosen to live with dignity.”
