NEWS CENTRE – The Rojava Jineology Academy has documented crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in the region by Turkey, HTŞ and DAİŞ gangs in a report prepared in four languages.

The North and East Syria-Rojava Jineology Academy has researched the serious human rights violations committed in the region by Turkey, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and DAISH gangs, preparing a report that documents them in detail. The 34-page file will be submitted to international courts, human rights organisations and child protection agencies.

The report covers the systematic attacks in the areas of Raqqa and Tabqa, particularly in the neighbourhoods of Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafiyya in Aleppo, and in the Cizire Canton, including Hese, Qamishlo, Chilaxa, Kobanê, Raqqa and Tabqa in the Cizire Canton. The report covers the targeting of civilian settlements, forced displacement, massacres, threats against workers, abductions, the release of DAISH members, changes to the demographic structure, and violations of the rights of children and women.

According to the report, in January 2026, indiscriminate attacks were carried out on civilian neighbourhoods, villages and towns in Aleppo and many other cities and regions in North and East Syria, including heavy weapons attacks using Turkish UAVs, tanks and artillery. The report, which includes photographs of civilians killed in the attacks, notes that women and children were among those killed. The report compiled dates, names and location information together with photographs in a single document.
