VAN - TJA and HDP Women’s Council invited women to the march that will be held tomorrow in İpekyolu district as part of November 25.

 

Members of Free Women’s Movement (TJA) and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Women’s Council in Van invited women to the march will be held in the Sürmeli Neighborhood of İpekyolu district at 15:00 tomorrow on the occasion of the November 25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. 

 

Citizens reacted to femicides, male violence and economic crisis at the meetings. One of the citizens, Sarya Aşkan, drew attention to the economic crisis and said, ‘’We have come to a point where we cannot buy any food. Even when our children go to school, we cannot give money. We are getting poor day by day because of government. We do not even have bread to give our children at home’’.

The women gave the message that they will be on the fields on November 25.
