URFA - On the 338th day of the justice vigil, Ferit Şenyaşar reminded the lawsuit filed about his mother Emine Şenyaşar with an allegation of ‘’insult’’ and said, ‘’On November 12, we will all together give a law lesson to prosecutors and judges’’.

The justice vigil started in front of the Urfa Courthouse on March 9 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her spouse and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s guard and relatives, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack with injuries, has entered its 338th day. Emine and Ferit, who came to the area called ‘’Şenyaşar Family Justice Corner’’, continue their vigil with a new banner they made in place of the banners that were seized on the 200th day of the vigil and were not delivered because they were examined by the prosecutor for 38 days.

‘Why are prosecutors ignoring this demand?’

Ferit Şenyaşar, who continues vigil for justice with his mother, said that his mother has been sitting on the pavement for about eight months, demanding only justice and asked why the prosecutors ignored this demand. Ferit, stating that his mother will appear in court on November 12 for allegedly ‘’insult’’ AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, said, ‘’There is no court against those who committed the massacre, but my mother will appear in court. How is this law, how is this justice? She will appear in court just because she wants justice. Such a situation cannot happen. On November 12, we will be at the courthouse with our lawyers and those who demand justice like us. On November 12, we will give law lesson to prosecutors and judges. Also, my mother’s health problems are increasing day by day. The Minister of Justice travels from city to city and talks about ‘justice’. We will not leave here until our two demands are met. This case is everyone’s case, we expect support from everyone’’.

Finally, the family shared the following on their virtual media account, ‘’Today, November 1, the persecution in front of the courthouse has completed its eight months. The perpetrators of massacre are under protection. There is a hearing on November 12. Prosecutors deemed proper to try the mother, who seek justice and whose spouse and children were killed. Those who are not ashamed are talking about justice on the screen’’.
