MIT abducts Kurdish lawyer in Afrin

ANKARA - It was stated that Kurdish lawyer Najah Umar Arus was abducted by MIT in Afrin.
 
It was learned that a Kurdish woman lawyer was abducted in the Afrin Canton, which is under Turkish control. According to the information provided by the Hawar News Agency (ANHA), Najah Umar Arus from the village of Raco in Afrin’s Kuira district was abducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) on October 23.
 
According to the news, Najah returned from Aleppo a month ago after Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS) informed that the displaced could return. She was abducted here on the grounds of her relations with the Autonomous Administration.
 
With the abduction of Najah, the number of women abducted in Afrin rose to 14 as of October 1. While it was reported that some of the persons in question were girls, it was stated that one of them was Nimet Bahcet Sheiko, who was abducted and killed while pregnant.
