Peace Mother Hanse Bulut arrested

IZMIR - Peace Mother Hanse Bulut, who was sentenced in a lawsuit filed against her during the ‘’curfew’’ period in Nusaybin and was taken into custody upon the finalization of her sentence, was arrested.
 
Peace Mother Hanse (Xense) Bulut (65-year-old), who lives in the Çimentepe part of Konak District of Izmir, was detained in a raid on her house in the morning hours on September 10. Hanse was arrested after her two-year prison sentence was approved in the lawsuit filed against her for allegedly ‘’helping a terrorist organization’’ because she could not leave her house during the curfews declared in the Nusaybin district of Mardin in 2015.

Hanse, who has hypertension and diabetes, was brought to the Bayraklı Courthouse after her check-ups at the hospital and was arrested after her decision was read to her face. Hanse was taken to Şakran Women’s Closed Prison and taken to the quarantine ward.
