Rotating hunger strike resistance on its 287th day

NEWS CENTER - The ongoing hunger strike resistance against the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the violations of rights in prisons has entered its 287th day.
 
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, has entered its 287th day. The 50th group continues the hunger strike resistance, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days, and has continued alternately every 15 days since 14 July.
 
266th day in Maxmur
 
The hunger strike, which started on December 18, 2020, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, is on its 266th day.

The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by those staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and to support the ongoing hunger strike in prisons is on its 249th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
