Hunger strike in prisons on its 267th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike of the prisoners against the isolation in Imralı and the violations of rights in prisons has entered its 267th day.
 
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, has entered its 267th day. The hunger strike resistance, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days, and continues alternately every 15 days since 14 July, continues with the 49th group.
 
Hunger strike in Maxmur on its 246th day
 
The hunger strike, which started on December 18, 2020, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, has entered its 246th day.
 
Day 229 in Lavrio Camp
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by who are staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and to support the ongoing hunger strike in prisons has entered its 229th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
