Hunger strike resistance on its 265th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike of political prisoners against the aggravated isolation in Imralı and the increasing rights violations in prisons is on its 265th day.
 
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, who was held in İmralı F Type High Security Closed Prison after he was brought to Turkey by an international conspiracy, and to end the increasing rights violations in prisons entered its 265th day. The hunger strike resistance, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days, and continues alternately every 15 days since 14 July, continues with the 49th group.
 
244th day of resistance in Maxmur
 
The hunger strike, which started on December 18, 2020, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, has entered its 244th day.
 
Day 227 in Lavrio
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by who are staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on PKK leader and to support the ongoing hunger strikes in prisons has entered its 227th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
