URFA - Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who are on the 162nd day of the ‘’justice’’ vigil, called out: ‘’You cannot escape reality and responsibility by burying your head in the sand.’’

The ‘’justice’’ vigil started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives on June 14, 2018, in Suruç district of Urfa, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continued on the 162nd day.

Emine and Ferit, who arrived in front of the courthouse early in the morning, started their vigil in the area called ‘’Şenyaşar family justice corner’’.

Leaving the written banner as ‘’On 14.06.2018, the father and his two sons were murdered inside the Suruç State Hospital. There has not been a single prisoner for three years! May the law of the superiors come to an end. Justice for All’’ in front of the concrete blocks in front of the courthouse, the family continued to talk about their struggle for justice regarding the massacre they were subjected to.

The family shared the following message from their digital media accounts: ‘’The authorities are like an ostrich against the demand for justice of the mother, whose spouse and two children were murdered in the hospital. You cannot escape the truth and responsibility by burying your head in the sand.’’
