Fire damages 170 decares of land

ELAZIĞ - The fire, which spread over 170 decares of land on Mount Mastar, within the borders of Koçkale village, started again during the cooling works.
 
The fire that broke out yesterday afternoon on Mount Mastar, within the borders of Koçkale village of Elazığ center, continues. The fire, which was stated to have been brought under control after three hours of work by the Regional Directorate of Forestry and the Elazığ Municipality Fire Department, started again with the effect of dry grass and wind.
 
The cause of the fire is unknown, while the fire extinguishing efforts are continuing. No statement was made about the fire from the Fire Department, Regional Directorate of Forestry and the Governor's Office.
