URFA - Emine Şenyaşar, who is on the 130th day of her protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding ‘’justice’’, once again reacted to the impunity of the perpetrators with the words: ‘’Those who killed my family are walking around.’’

The ‘’justice’’ vigil started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attacks of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attacks with injuries, continues on the 130th day.

‘They are constantly persecuting us’

Emine Şenyaşar, who started to vigil in front of the Urfa Courthouse, emphasized that what they experienced was persecution and that they could not meet with the prosecutor and were not taken to the courthouse. Drawing attention to the situation of her son in prison, Emine said: ‘’I want my son to be released. They buried my family in the ground. At least, let them free my son. They persecute us by constantly detaining us. My son is being held in a single room. What kind of justice is this? Those who killed my family are walking around. The President also knows that my children are innocent. Let them find us a solution, and we will go home. Let them reveal our hospital records.’’

Sharing on their digital media account, the family published the image of the support visit of the Istanbul-based Bridging Peoples Association with the message: ‘’Our Justice Fight in Front of the Şanlıurfa Justice Palace (!) is on its 130th day.’’
