NEWS CENTER - The 39th group took over the alternating hunger strike against the Imralı isolation in Lavrio Camp in Greece.

 

The alternating hunger strike for the freedom of Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in Greece. The hunger strike, led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger-TCŞ), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan-Europe) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan) in Lavrio Camp in Athens, continues in groups for five days alternately.

 

As the hunger strike action reached its 192nd day, the 38th group handed over its action to the 39th group. Stating that they took over the resistance with the spirit of July 14, the new group started the action with the slogans "Bijî Serok Apo", "Bijî berxwedana zindanan" and "Jin Jiyan azadi".

 

After accepting congratulations after the change of vests, the insurgents went to the action area.
