IZMIR - The message prepared by the HDP Izmir Provincial Organization to call for a "Breath for Democracy" rally to be held on July 8 was blocked by the operator company, showing reason the word ‘fascism’.

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Izmir Provincial Organization was not sent because the word ‘fascism’ was included in the content of 17000 messages sent by its contracted (SMS) company to its members to call for a "Breath for Democracy" rally to be held on July 8. The operator company's statement was that the word ‘fascism’ was on the list of banned words and that if it was published, a lawsuit could be filed.

 

The message of the HDP Provincial Organization as: ‘’All our people are invited to the rally to be held on Thursday in Gündoğdu Square. Denizs will win, fascism will lose’’. It was noted that the word ‘cruels’ was used instead of the word fascism.
