Kobanê Trial on its 4th day

ANKARA - The 3rd hearing of the Kobanê Political Genocide Case continues on its 4th day with the defense of the detained politicians.
 
3rd hearing of the Kobanê Political Genocide Trial, where 108 people, including the former Co-Chairs of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş, and the former Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (HDP) Sebahat Tuncel are on trial, started on the 4th day at the Ankara 22nd High Criminal Court.
 
Many people attended the hearing
 
HDP MPs, HDP Ankara provincial and district administrators, many lawyers, journalists, and citizens attended the hearing held at the Sincan Prison Campus Trial Hall.
 
Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş, former Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Gültan Kışanak, HDP former Central Executive Board (MYK) member Zeynep Ölbeci were connected to the hearing with Sound and Video Information System (SEGBİS) from the prisons where they were detained. DBP former Co-Chair Emine Ayna, HDP former MPs Gülser Yıldırım, Aysel Tuğluk and HDP former MYK member Pervin Oduncu did not attend the hearing by making excuses.
 
Can Memiş, Cihan Erdal, Berfin Özgü Köse, who were released, were connected with SEGBİS from Istanbul, while Ayhan Bilgen and the member of the İmralı Delegation, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, and Ahmet Türk, Gülfer Akkaya and Altan Tan, who were on trial without arrest, did not attend the hearing by making excuses.

Former DBP Co-Chair Sebahat Tuncel, Free Women’s Movement (TJA) activist Ayla Akat Ata, HDP former spokesperson Günay Kubilay, HDP Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) member Ali Ürküt, former MPs Emine Beyza Üstün, İbrahim Binici, Nazmi Gür, HDP MYK member Alp Altınörs, Meryem Adıbelli, HDP former compter Zeki Çelik, HDP former MYK members Ayşe Yağcı, Bircan Yorulmaz, Bülent Parmaksız, İsmail Şengül, Dilek Yağ and Sibel Akdeniz were present in the courtroom.
 
Selahattin Demirtaş’s file has been merged
 
The chief judge, who started to read the documents that came to the file, stated that the file at the Ankara 19th High Criminal Court, where the main case of Selahattin Demirtaş was heard, was merged with this case.
 
The hearing continued with the defense of HDP former Spokesperson Günay Kubilay, whose defense was interrupted yesterday.
