‘#EzgiMolaIsNotAlone’ hashtag at first rank of Turkey’s agenda

NEWS CENTER - After the lawsuit was filed against actress Ezgi Mola for allegedly insulting the rape perpetrator Musa Orhan, an action was started with the hashtag "#EzgiMolaIsNotAlone". The action quickly became a TT on Turkey's agenda.
 
A lawsuit is filed against actress Ezgi Mola at the Ankara 31st Criminal Court of First Instance on the grounds that she insulted specialist sergeant Musa Orhan, who raped İpek Er, who lives in Batman, and drove her to suicide last year. A lawsuit was filed against actress Ezgi Mola with a demand for imprisonment of up to two years and four months.
 
On August 20, 2020, Ezgi shared on her social media account: "Suffocate in your conscience that released the rapist dishonor. Now you have taken away from us everything about law, prayer, wish, request, desire, hope! What can I say! Shame on you! Shame on you!!! #LetMusaOrhanBeArrested".
 
Reactions to the lawsuit filed upon the complaint of Musa Orhan's lawyer were not delayed. Many people supported the action, which was started with the hashtag "#EzgiMolaIsNotAlone" on social media. Many people, including politicians, artists, writers, and journalists, announced to Ezgi with the messages they shared that she is not alone. The action on social media quickly took the first place on the agenda of Turkey and became Trend Topic (TT).
