Resistance in prisons continues on its 183rd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched against the aggravated isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons has entered its 183rd day.
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues. The action is on day 183 with the 37th group.
 
On the other hand, yesterday, the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) made a statement regarding the isolation and the ongoing hunger strike actions. The statement emphasized that "Isolation is being imposed on Mr. Öcalan, the architect of the solution."
 
The action in Greece is on its 145th day
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched in Greece's Lavrio Camp to end the isolation against Abdullah Öcalan and support the hunger strikes in prisons continues on its 145th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
