Hunger strike resistance on its 182nd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched against the aggravated isolation against PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons is on its 182nd day.
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation imposed upon PKK keader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues. The action continues on its 182nd with the 37th group. The action has entered its seventh month, leaving its sixth month behind.
 
The action in Maxmur is on the 161st day
 
On December 18, a hunger strike was launched in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region under the leading of women against the İmralı isolation. The action in the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council has entered its 161st day.
 
The action in Greece is on its 144th day
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike action launched in Greece's Lavrio Camp to end the isolation against Abdullah Öcalan and support the hunger strikes in prisons continues on its 144th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
