Five people detained in Ankara

ANKARA - Stating that they wanted to hold the AKP to account, five members of People’s Houses, who wanted to enter the AKP Ankara provincial building, were detained by the police.
 
Members of People’s Houses (Halkevleri) wanted to protest in front of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Ankara provincial building regarding the words of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu in a TV program he attended yesterday. The activists, carrying the banner "Revolution cleans up this mess," said: "We came to ask AKP to account. We came to ask an account from the counter-guerrilla state, where the state meshed with mafia and capital."
The activists were detained by the police while trying to enter the AKP building. It was learned that those detained were taken to Ankara Security Branch.
 
The names of the five members of the People’s Houses who were detained are as follows: Seher Gülçin Polat, Aysun Gençtanır, Tuğba Koçer, Anıl Aktaş, Devrim Deniz Kaplan.
