ŞIRNAK - While the fire that broke out on the high hills of Cudi Mountain was continuing, it was recorded that no intervention was made to put out the fire.

 

The fire that broke out on the high hills of Mount Cudi, close to the village of Çağlayan (Şax) in Silopi district of Şırnak, continues. Stating that the fire broke out as a result of the fires from the military battalion near the village, citizens said that no intervention was made to put out the fire.

 

It was stated that Çağlayan village was evacuated in 1993 and was banned on the grounds that it was a military zone area.
