Criminal complaint about prevention of journalist by police

NEWS CENTER - While Yol TV reporter Özge Uyanık was viewing the May Day protests in Ankara, a criminal complaint will be filed regarding the prevention of the shooting and tread on her phone by throwing on the ground by police.
 
On the grounds of the circular issued by the General Directorate of Security, Yol TV reporter Özge Uyanık's phone was thrown to the ground and wanted to be broken because she was shooting during the May Day protest in Ankara. Today at 13:00, a press release will be made in front of Ankara Courthouse with the participation of Journalists' Union of Turkey (TGS) Ankara executives, and then a criminal complaint will be filed.
 
The General Directorate of Security issued a circular regarding the prevention of taking sound and images in the protests before May Day. The police, who justified this circular that prevents the right to communication in the constitution, prevented Yol TV reporter Özge Uyanık, who filmed the May Day protests in Ankara, threw her phone on the ground and tread on it. The recorded images caused reactions on social media.
