Application to Constitutional Court for funerals buried on pavement

ISTANBUL - ÖHD Istanbul Branch applied to the Constitutional Court regarding the funerals buried on the pavement in Kilyos.
 
282 funerals were brought to Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institution (ATK) without informing their families on December 19, 2017, from Garzan Cemetery in Yukarıölek (Oleka Jor) Neighborhood of Bitlis and were buried on the pavement in Kilyos Cemetery. The Istanbul branch of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) announced that they made an individual application to the Constitutional Court (AYM) on their social media accounts.
 
In the post, shared: "In the criminal complaint we made regarding the funerals buried on the pavement in Kilyos, it was decided to reject that the lawsuit we filed for the cancellation of the procedure and not granting permission to investigate the officers. Thereupon, we made an individual application to the Constitutional Court on behalf of our association and families."
