Kobanê trial starts with protest

ANKARA - Kobanê trial started with arrested women politicians being present in the courtroom. After the discussion between the attorneys and court board, the attorneys left the courtroom in protest with applauses.
 
Participants are protesting court board
 
Stating that 100 attorneys waiting outside will not be allowed in due to Covid-19 measures, the head of the court is protesting with applauses by the participants in the court hall.
 
Politicians don't respond
 
The head of the board initiated the case by threatening the participants, saying, "If you continue to protest, I will take you out of the court hall. Politicians protesting the chief judge board who made an identification do not respond to the identification.
 
Arrested women politicians in the courtroom
 
Ayla Akat Ata, Emine Beyza Üstün, Bircan Yorulmaz, Berfin Özgül Köse, who are in Ankara Sincan Women's Closed Prison, were present at the courtroom, while the former Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Sabahat Tuncel was presented in Kandıra No 1 Closed Prison. On the other hand, other politicians attended the hearing with the Sound and Video Information System (SEGBİS) from the prisons where they were held.
 
Applauses have risen
 
While the tension continues in the courtroom, discussions continue between the attorneys and court board. To the attorneys, “Put on your togs and speak accordingly. Get out’’ said. The head of the court board, who said ‘get out’ was protested with applauses.
 
It was stated that the attorneys who left the courtroom would make a statement outside.
