Academic Büşra Ersanlı sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in prison

	ISTANBUL - Academic Prof.Dr. Büşra Ersanlı has been sentenced to one year and three months in prison for signing the petition titled, “We will not be a party to this crime.”

	 

	The trial of case opened against Prof.Dr. Büşra Ersanlı, an academic retired from Marmara University, for signing the petition titled “We will not be a party to this crime” was held by 32nd High Criminal Court in Istanbul. In her defense, Büşra demanded her release but the court has sentenced her to one year and three months in prison on charges of “propagandizing for a (terrorist) organization.”
