14th Zilan Women’s Festival to be held in Dortmund this year

	NEWS CENTER - 14th Zilan Women’s Festival will be held in Dortmund this year with the motto, “Defending Afrin is defending the women's revolution”.

	 

	The 14th Zilan Women’s Festival, which is organized annually by Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E), will be held on June 23 in Dortmund city of Germany this year. The motto of the festival for this year is “Defending Afrin is defending the women's revolution”. The committee on preparation for the festival held a meeting for the festival. The committee members said one of the main themes of the festival would be standing up for the resistance of the people of Afrin and stretching the resistance against the Turkish attacks.

	 

	Women’s organizations will join the festival

	 

	Representatives of the TJK-E, Kongra Star, feminist women’s organizations, NRW Die Linke and VVN Antifa will take the floor during the festival.

	 

	Many singers will take the stage

	 

	One of the most colorful sections of the festival is the preparations for the children. In the festival area there will be many different games and activities for the children. In the culture section of the festival, Koma Dengê Xwezayê (musical group), Jala, Sena Dersîmî, Sulbus û Tarî, Koma Jinên Tevçandê (musical group), Indian Women's Dance Group, Duo Wabohu German Women's Group, Armenian singer Yekşa and many other singers will take the stage.
