Many powerful films have been shown at the festival until now. Last night “Girls of Son” directed by Eva Husson about Kurdish women fighting Daesh was shown at the festival. The film lasting one hour and 55 minutes is about the struggle of the Kurdish women fighting Daesh gangs attacked Shengal in 2014.   The film crew consists of women from director to film players and the film leave its mark on the 71st annual Cannes Film Festival.
