‘I make my life beautiful’ says Kader Tosun who works for 23 years

	ŞIRNAK - Kader Tosun, who has made a life for herself by working for years despite all difficulties, runs her shop in Şırnak province now.

	 

	Women of Şırnak, who are present in all areas from collecting herbs, selling goods at their shops, in politics and working life, have stood up for their lives. Kader Tosun (46), who has made a living by selling the clothes in her dress shop she opened in the Silopi district of Şırnak province, is one of these women. Looking after her patient husband for years, Kader has sold the dresses sewed by her or other women. One of Kader’s sons is held in prison and she lost her another son. Kader and her husband have to live alone after the marriage of her daughter.

	 

	‘I have worked for 23 years’

	 

	Expressing that she has worked for years in order to take care of her family, Kader said, “I have tried to earn money here on my own. I am the only person working in the family. I am happy because I earn my money even if not too much. I had worked before my husband became a bedridden. I have married for 23 years and I always work. Before I worked in the village and I have worked here for 15 years.”

	 

	Stating that the women should stand on their own feet, Kader said, “Start your own business, and get your rights. The women should stand on their own feet and become self-sufficient. You get tired but your great efford make your life beautiful.”
