‘We will change the life with women’s organized power’ 2018-02-10 11:33:09   ANKARA - Women stating that they will not bow to operation and attacks on HDP and its organizations in the wake of the party’s 3rd Ordinary Congress to be held in Ankara on Sunday said they would fill the congress place. “We will change the life with women’s organized power,” said the women.   Detention operations conducted against the members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) before the party’s 3rd Ordinary Congress to be held in Ankara on February 11 have continued. The women said they would participate in the congress and would raise the motto of HDP saying ‘Great Humanity’ despite all attacks.   ‘Detention will fail to stop ‘Great Humanity’”   Anatolian Culture and Research Association (AKA-DER) member Betül Koca emphasized that the detention of HDK/HDP members will not stop “Great Humanity” and their desire for new life; “The power and accumulation of the common struggle of the peoples arising in the elections of June 7, 2015 will organize themselves and fraternity will win in our region and Anatolia.”   Betül invited all oppressed peoples, workers and laborers to attend the congress against operations and attacks on HDK/HDP.   ‘We will change the life with women’s organized power’   Revolutionary Party member Burcugül Çubuk expressed that the attacks and detention cannot intimidate them and she said, “On February 11, we will hold the congress of our party, which reveals that the women are founder elements and raise our voice in every sphere of life. We will change the life with the women’s organized power.” Burcugül also called all women to attend the congress.   ‘We will respond to the detention and arrest’   Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Ankara Provincial Administration member Zeyno Bayramoğlu also reacted to the attacks on HDP members and she said, “It is obvious that the government is not scared of anybody. They are just scared of us and we understand that. We will respond to the detention and arrest at congress hall along with the peoples of Turkey. We will be at Arena in Ankara on February 11 to scare them more.”
