‘Afrin operation is the desperation of AKP in internal politics’

	ADANA - HDK and HDP members held a press conference and pointed out that the attacks on Afrin are the desperation of the AKP in internal politics.

	 

	The Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) Adana Provincial Assembly and the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Adana organization held a press conference in the building of HDP in Seyhan district of Adana province in order to point out the ongoing chaos in Turkey. Members of the Party of Labour (EMEP), Association of People of Dersim and many NGOs attended the conference. HDK Adana Provincial Assembly member Osman Polat stated that the AKP is building the country with fascism and that as HDK they are in the struggle against fascism. Stating that “One-type uniform” practice is for dishonoring the prisoners; Osman said the struggle against the practice should be carried out by everyone.

	 

	‘The people don’t have to pay a price’

	 

	Mentioning that the attacks on Afrin are a product of the desperation of AKP faces in internal politics, Osman emphasized that a bloody war has been imposed on the Kurdish people and that the AKP wants to make the dictatorial regime permanent in the country. Osman said, “The invasion attacks on Afrin are unfair in a humanistic, political and legal manner. Afrin is not an enemy headquarters, it is an area where hundreds of thousands civilians live in. Attacks on Afrin will cause an irreversible break between the Kurdish and Turkish people in Turkey. Our people don’t have to pay a price for interest of the Palace.”
