
16 people killied in Afrin sent off on an eternal journey

	AFRIN - A funeral ceremony was held for 16 people killed in the attacks on Afrin by air and land.

	&nbsp;

	A march was organized for 16 people, 14 civilians, two fighters of YPG, who were killed in the attacks of Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and Free Syrian Army (FSA). The dead bodies were taken from Avrîn Hospital and 16 people have been sent off on an eternal journey on the shoulders of the people.

	‘We will defend our lands’

	&nbsp;

	After the march, Families of Martyrs Organization Administration member Şaziye İbrahim appealed to AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan. Şaziye said, “As families of martyrs, we say to Erdoğan and Russia; your games cannot discourage us from our cause! We will defend our lands to the end. We condemn Russia. Are you our enemy because our children ended Daesh in Syria?

	Afrin Canton Co-chair Mustafa Hesen reacted to Turkish announcement saying, “We hit points of the YPG” and said, “Erdoğan should come here and see the children killed by him. We don’t leave our lands to the last drop of blood.

	Dead bodies of 16 people have been taken to Afrin and Shehba Martyrs to be buried.&nbsp;
