Afrin city center under bombardment 2018-01-21 13:40:11   NEWS CENTER - As death toll in airstrikes launched by Turkey on Afrin rises to 10, Afrin city center and its Mabata district are under bombardment.   A civilian wounded in airstrikes launched by Turkey on Afrin has passed away in hospital. Seven civilians including a child and three YPG/YPJ fighters have been killed in the attacks. YPG released a statement yesterday and announced that 13 civilians were wounded as a result of the attack.   Furthermore, Turkish warplanes bombed Topal Hill of Bilbile district of Afrin. Clashes have been broken between YPG/YPJ and Turkish Army trying to enter Afrin from Bilbili since last night. According to last reports received from local sources, clashes are going on around Bilbile’s Dikmetaş region. Kurdo and Topal villages of Bilbili are being hit by howitzer. The security wall built by Turkey between Roca and Sorke villages has been removed by Turkey.   Places of civilians targeted   Turkish warplanes have continued to target and bomb Renende village of Şiyen, where civilians live. As of 11:30, Turkish Army removed the security wall in Hemam village of Afrin’s Cindires district and tried to enter Afrin but they were blocked by YPG/YPJ forces. Turkish warplanes therefore bombed Hemam Hill.   City center and Mabata are under bombardment   Turkey has bombed Afrin city center and its Mabata district to advance on the ground. The reports say the bombardment has become intense in Eşrefiye Neighborhood of Afrin city center and its Mabata district.
