Witness of Dersim massacre passes away

	DERSİM-Emine Kıyançiçek, who was the witness of Dersim massacre, passed away. Emine will be buried today in Uzuntarla village of Dersim.

	 

	Emine who was the witness of Dersim massacre when she was 10 years old in 1938 in Laç stream of Dersim’s Ovacık district, spent her last six months on a bed. 90-year-old Emine Kıyançiçek’ funeral will be put to eternal rest today at 12:00 a.m. in  Uzuntarla (Hozmerek) village of Dersim’s center.

	 

	Emine Kıyançiçek had been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison on charges of “aid and abet to Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)” when she was 76 years old and she had been sent to Tunceli Prison. Emine Kıyançiçek  had been arrested for 24 months.
