100 people injured in the earthquake hit Southern Kurdistan 2017-12-12 10:30:58     NEWS CENTER- At least 100 people have been slightly injured in the two 5.4 and 4.9 magnitude earthquakes hit Eastern and Southern Kurdistan last night and they have been hospitalized.    Two earthquakes determined as two 5.4 and 4.9 magnitude hit Eastern and Southern Kurdistan last night at between 5:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. The center of the earthquakes is reportedly located 15-20 kilometers away from Halabja. Many people have been injured during the earthquakes due to panic and jumping from high places.    50 people have been hospitalized in Halabja; 15 people in Derbendixan, 30 people in Seyidsadiq and five people in other districts have been hospitalized.   On November 12, another earthquake that hit the region killed 540 people and injured more than 8,000 people.
