398th day on Yüksel Avune: 3 detained 2017-12-11 16:02:00   ANKARA - Police attacked the people gathering in front of Human Rights Monument to make a statement on the 398th day of “We want our jobs back” action and detained three people.   As the hunger strike launched by educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who were dismissed from their duties by emergency decrees, has entered in its 278th day, the “We want our jobs back” action continued by the people in solidarity with two educators has entered in its 398th day.   The protesters, who wanted to make a statement in front of the Human Rights Monument on Yüksel Avenue, gathered in Konur Street. Police didn’t allow them to enter Yüksel Avenue.  The protesters unfurled a banner reading “The hunger strike is on 278th day, Nuriye and Semih should be reinstated.”   Police attacked the people and detained three of them.
